Our goal
We aim to empower our rangatahi to leave their comfort zones and gain skills, knowledge and friendships that will serve them in everyday life, no-matter what career path they choose

If your school or PTE offers agricultural credits through NZQA, as of April 2025, I will be able to assess and award these for you (subject to prior arrangement with the school)

What is involved in the courses?
Courses have been designed to suit 13- to 18-year-olds. Individual courses will vary, depending on seasonal farming activities, but each course will include:

Learning modules – skills such as how to change a tyre/vehicle maintenance, driving a tractor/excavator, handling horses, environmental stewardship, building, the list goes on!

Work modules – get your hands dirty doing some real farm work! Weighing cattle, drafting sheep, planting trees and more

Obstacle courses – a chance to have some competitive fun with the skills we’ve learnt throughout the week

NZQA agriculture assessments, if desired and arranged prior to course commencement

Exercise modules – different forms of exercise achievable for all fitness levels

Afternoon tea is provided daily, during the end-of-session debrief
